Health Advisory: Measles Vaccination Access

The Florida Department of Health in Duval County (DOH-Duval) has confirmed the presence of measles cases within the Jacksonville area. In response, health officials have expanded access to immunizations to curb further spread.

Residents are advised to check their vaccination status for MMR (Measles, Mumps, and Rubella). DOH-Duval is offering immunizations Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., at two primary locations: 515 West 6th Street and 3225 University Boulevard South. A specialized pop-up clinic is also scheduled for February 1 at the Regency Library. Those exhibiting symptoms are urged to contact their healthcare provider by phone before arriving in person to prevent exposure to others.
