Two additional concessions move forward as part of the airport’s ongoing Concourse B buildout

Jacksonville International Airport is set to add two new dining options after the Jacksonville Aviation Authority (JAA) board unanimously approved long-term lease agreements on February 2, 2026. The approvals clear the way for Pura Bean Coffee Co. and Salt & Tide to operate in the airport’s new Concourse B, which is currently under construction and planned to add six gates.

The leases are structured for 15 years and cover two separate buildouts in the new concourse. The agreements also define minimum investment requirements and revenue-sharing terms intended to support new construction and ongoing airport operations.

What’s planned: a coffee shop and a full-service restaurant with seafood focus

Salt & Tide is planned as a full-service restaurant in a 3,237-square-foot space in Concourse B. The concept is expected to feature seafood prominently while also offering non-seafood menu items such as hamburgers, chicken and vegetarian dishes. JAA staff characterized the project as the airport’s first seafood restaurant since Jacksonville International Airport opened in 1968.

Pura Bean Coffee Co. is planned for a 1,466-square-foot location. The Jacksonville-based coffee company was founded in 1997 and is expected to sell coffee drinks and breakfast-oriented items such as croissants and baked goods. The airport menu is planned to expand through a partnership with local bakery Village Bread and Bagel.

Operator, investment and rent terms

Paradies Lagardère Travel Retail is designated to manage both concepts. Under the agreements, the operator is required to spend at least $4.6 million to improve the two spaces.

  • Food and nonalcoholic beverages: 11% of sales during years 1–5, increasing to 12% in years 6–15.
  • Alcoholic beverages: 18% of sales for the full 15-year term.

How the approvals fit into the broader Concourse B concession plan

The two new leases follow a series of previously approved restaurant additions tied to the Concourse B expansion, including tenants planned for the Oak & Ocean Food Hall. Prior approvals have included a mix of national brands and Jacksonville- or Northeast Florida-founded restaurants, reflecting a broader strategy of combining widely recognized chains with local concepts in the expanded concourse.

Concourse B is planned to add six gates at Jacksonville International Airport and is scheduled to open in December 2026.

With construction underway, additional concession locations have been part of the authority’s wider planning for Concourse B, which is also expected to open alongside a new parking garage adding 2,000 spaces.
